xFyro ANC Wireless Earbuds

Last updated on July 3rd, 2022 at 1:56 pm

Wireless earbuds are hot items these days, especially after Apple’s AirPods popularity. Now, to stimulate the wireless connectivity industry, xFyro has also introduced new ANC earbuds. The company claims to develop fully waterproof, 8-hour long battery life and superior HD sound quality powered with AI-technology earbuds.

The product seems amazing from the company’s briefing, but to check the truth behind all the claims, we have compiled an insightful review on xFyro ANC earbuds. You can apply discount code TC10 to get an additional 10% off!

So, let’s see whether these earbuds are worth buying or not.

Unboxing xFyro ANC

When you open your xFyro ANC earbuds box, you won’t be surprised. It is a pretty standard gadget with a big chunky earpiece like every wireless earbud. It also has an aluminum shell, LED indicator lights, a button for power, and audio control.

However, the charging case is a bit different. Instead of a plastic clamshell, xFyro has created a fine aluminum tube (black, blue, or red color options) with a port on each end. Additionally, the ANC charge case has a USB out port that you can use to charge your smartphone using its 850 MAh battery. So, this is a great feature compared to other leading wireless earbuds.

Along with xFyro ANC earbuds, you will find the following things in the box:

  • 3 different sizes of in-ear tips
  • Charging/storage case
  • A charging cable
  • An instruction manual
  • 90-days guarantee card

Is xFyro ANC Actually Waterproof?

Yes, this is one of the most promoted features of xFyro ANC earbuds. Even on the earbud’s commercial and company’s website, the makers highlight the water resistance feature.

Since the earbuds are built with IPX5 water resistance technology, which can handle around 3.3 feet of water. So, it can handle your sweat while working out, a dunk in shallow water, or a few drizzles of rain. However, you can’t wear these earbuds while showering or swimming. That’s because water exposure for a long time can damage your earbuds — waterproof technology can only work to a certain extent.

Super HD Sound Quality

There’s great hype about the super HD sound quality of xFyro ANC earbuds in the market. Overall, the ANC sound quality is very nice. If you use an air-tight seal assortment of tips, you can get consistent bass and treble delivery.

Super HD Sound Quality

The bass performance is also quite decent. However, the low-frequency extension is at 63Hz, which is below average. The low bass is responsible for low-end thump and rumble, so you might not hear low bass sounds clearly on this device. However, mid-bass and high-bass compensate for this small problem with .58dB and 5.03dB, respectively.

Similarly, the treble performance is also average. The low range is a bit uneven, which results in poor instrumental and brightness. However, mid-treble is well balanced and reaches over 2dB, which is great for wireless earbuds.

Noise Cancellation Reality

xFyro claims to be one of the first companies to introduce AI technology in wireless earbuds. According to the company website, ANC can recognize over 6000+ unique sounds. The AI Transparency Mode can block sounds like traffic, voices, and alarms.

Noise Cancellation Reality

Also, the leakage performance is phenomenal in ANC. Basically, xFyro ANC doesn’t leak, so you can enjoy your music without any interruptions. So, for the noise cancellation department, it is great wireless earbuds.

Extended Battery Life

It is also claimed that ANC earbuds can work for 8 hours straight on a single charger, which is awesome. That’s because most wireless earbuds can run for around 3 to 4 hours on a single charge.

However, the ANC battery life is great, but 8 hours is a bit exaggerated. After going through different online reviews and first-hand testing the earbuds, we found that the ANC can maximum go for 4 hours on one charge. Although, this doesn’t mean ANC earbuds have poor battery life because most wireless earbuds don’t even offer this much battery life. However, we can still call it a bad case of advertising.

Comfort and Ease of Wearing

You can wear these earbuds all day along. xFyro ANC is designed with an ergonomic precision that can provide full comfort to your ears. Since the earbuds are waterproof and come with three different silicone tips, you can easily wear them without feeling any pain or itching.

Also, gesture control is pretty convenient. You can simply control your calls while driving or working out with a mere gesture of your hand. Additionally, you can connect your earbuds with Google Assistant and Siri to lead a full voice-controlled life.

Other Technical Specifications

  • AI-powered noise cancellation with easy toggle switch between ANC /automatic noise cancellation), AI Transparency Mode, and standard audio settings.
  • Automatic pairing with Bluetooth 5.0 from 3 feet.
  • 7mm graphene drivers for studio-like quality audio.
  • Dual-beamforming mic for clear calling while working out or driving.
  • Excellent battery life, including 100 hours listening time, 90 hours in the charging case, and 10 hours per charge.
  • IPX5 waterproof and ultra shock technology for outdoor uses.
  • Quick type-c charging for faster charge along with USB-C port.

Pros

  • Both earbuds can be used independently.
  • Good battery life.
  • Automatic noise cancellation is fantastic.
  • No noise leaks.
  • Comfortable to wear all day.

Cons

  • Earbuds and cases have magnetic fields that attract dust particles.
  • It only offers a 90 days warranty period.
  • Low frequency needs improvement.

Final Verdict

xFyro sX2 has many new features like AI-powered ANC, waterproof, shockproof, and long-lasting battery life. On the other hand, the bass isn’t that great, and the original price of $299 is too much.

However, xFyro has reduced the price to $150 and even offered free shipping. So, for this price range, xFyro ANC earbuds are worth buying. Overall, if you like to try new gadgets, go get these earbuds; you won’t be disappointed.
