On October 20, 2020 Windows 10 version 20H2 or Windows 10 v2009 or Windows 10 October 2020 update has been released. When majority of organizations have planned to move and adapt new technologies by going remote to hybrid work scenarios, Microsoft has released this update to keep you safe and productive. The first preview of the version was first seen in the Windows Insider Program.

How to install Windows 10 October 2020 update?

The Windows 10 October 2020 update available initially for users of select devices running Windows 10, version 1903 or later. You should consider installing this update if you want to explore latest feature updates and you are ready to install this release on your device. To install Windows 10 October 2020 update, follow these steps:

Right click on Start menu icon and select Settings.

Now if it displays an update and you are running Windows 10, version 1903 or later, you need to click Download and install to get started. Once the latest version is downloaded and it is ready to install, you will be notified to pick the right time to finish the installation process. Once the installation process is complete, you need to reboot your device to ensure safe update.
